While we knew it would come, this is the last straw. The Samsung Galaxy S4 already has its Asian clone which is no surprise. What´s very striking is that this clone will be released before the Galaxy S4 itself.

We’re used to Chinese companies that usually launch products very similar to those of the top brands (like the HiPhone 5 for example). And of course, the new flagship of Samsung has a clone called S400 created by the Chinese manufacturer Sunle which incorporates:

  • IPS Screen of 5 inches HD (1,280 x 720 pixels)
  • Mediatek MTK6859 processor at 1.2 GHz quad-core
  • 1 GB of RAM
  • 8 GB of internal memory (supporting up to 32 GB)
  • 8-megapixel rear camera
  • 3-megapixel front camera
  • 3G, Bluetooth, GPS
  • Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean
  • 2100 mAh Battery
  • Plastic housing

As you see while the Galaxy S4 is much higher, this is a clone that´s not bad and it comes quietly in the midrange. While does not have LTE connectivity and 1080p panel and is inferior in hardware and softare, for the $ 225 (1399 yuan) that costs, the truth is not bad (the free Galaxy S4 is on sale for 699 euros) .

However, the most striking thing about the S400 is that will come to the Chinese market weeks before the Galaxy S4 itself. The Chinese clone will go on sale in the Asian giant on April 4, while the new smartphone from Samsung will not come until mid-November.

How about this clone? Do you think it will succeed?
