If you have already applied the update to the official firmware Android Jelly Bean probably you are interested in having ROOT acces on your Samsung Galaxy S3 of AT&T.
But before you might like to know what is necessary to gain root access. This allows you to make modifications to the operating system, change settings, delete protected files etc.. So when you become root, you can customize your device as you wish and use applications like autostart that lets you disable applications either user or system to not load at startup, reducing memory consumption and battery.
You can also change system settings to record video in full HD, making the longest scan wifi to save battery, or perform overclok of the processor to run faster on your mobile.
Root Samsung Galaxy S3 SGH-I747 (AT & T)
Note: this tutorial that uses xxxxxx will allow us to to root any stock firmware of the Samsung Galaxy S3 SGH-I747. If you have another model or firmware that is not stock we recommend you check in the comments section. To make this process requires access to a computer with Windows.
1 – Before you start you have to download and run the following file to your PC: Rooting Tool for AT&T Galaxy S3
2 – After downloading and opening the program, you have to take your Samsung Galaxy S3 AT&T and activate the USB debuggin mode in the development options as shown in the following video:
3 – Now connect your Galaxy S3 to the PC via the USB cable and click the Do It button Then the process will begin and in a minute or two you will have your device rooted.
