The app Google Books for Android has received a new update that adds new features fixes a lot of bugs that apparently had and even added support for India.
I must confess that I have not used much the application, but the time I did I had no problems. However, it seems that Google Play Books had several bugs that were fixed in the last update, and as reported by Google were over 90 problems which were solved including crashes. In theory, users should now have almost zero problems and much more stability.
Google Play Books now has support in India and even added exclusive content for the region, though not everything is rosy as according to users several credit cards are having problems with the Play Store so are failing to make the purchase.
Finally, Google included some minor improvements in the user interface as a drop down in the library to filter books by type as well as the identification of the names of the place when the option of reading controls is on. If you have not tried ever Google Play Books this may be a good time.
