HTC has just officially presented the One (M7), its new flagship. In an event held simultaneously in London and New York, the Taiwanese firm has unveiled its new device and said that it is “the best smartphone ever made.” Here in AndroidADN you´ll have all the details.

In an event that started with some delay (something unusual for events organized by companies), HTC finally presented one of its most promising smartphones of the year the One (M7).
As expected, the One is a great device. Coated with an aluminum casing, has a full HD display (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) of 4.7 with technology Super LCD 3 and an incredible pixel density of 469 ppi, which makes it the king in that aspect, far outpacing competitors (the Galaxy S3 has 306 ppi, iPhone 5 326 ppi).
In addition, the One features a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 of four cores at 1.7 GHz, Adreno 300 GPU, 2 GB of RAM and 32 or 64GB of internal memory (expandable with microSD). One of the great innovations of the device can be seen in its camera that comes with an enlarged pixel sensor that can absorb about three times more light than conventional inside a 8 megapixel camera. These UltraPixels, as the company calls them, allow big jump in performance in low light, although limiting the resolution of the photos that are taken at only 4 megapixels. In addition, the HTC One includes an HDR video mode, a comprehensive suite for editing photos, optical image stabilization (OIS for its acronym in English), gyroscope and multi-axis OIS available for both houses, with the front unit also with ultra wide angle and a new option ZOE that captures five frames before pressing the shutter, plus another 15 after it, which gives a set of 20 photographs to choose from.

As for the sound, HTC says the One “offers the best audio experience on any mobile device” with HTC BoomSound. These are two stereo front speakers that have sound chambers biggest ever seen on a phone, as well as integration with Beats Audio and HDR recording option with dual microphone.
The HTC One also comes with a battery 2.300mAh, GPS and GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, LTE connectivity and WiFi 802.11ac. As for the OS, we find Android 4.1.2 with the new Sense 5.0 interface that comes with a new look and a new thing called the BlikFeed, an aggregator Flipboard style of news, information and other things that serves as the new home screen. However, a quick update is coming as the company said it is working to bring Android 4.2.2 to its new flagship.
The HTC One will be available in 80 countries through over 185 operators from late March to compete against the Galaxy S4 and the next iPhone. It seems that the company is very confident with its new device because in the launch event, Mike Woodward, president of HTC America, said that “not only is the latest and greatest smartphone, but is the best phone ever manufactured “. Will have to see if users feel the same way, which is what at the end of the day it matters most.
How about this new device? Leave me your thoughts in the comments!
