In this day have leaked some details about the Xperia Togari, the next flagship of Sony. This is a huge smartphone (or phablet) of 6.44 inches which will incorporate the new processors Snapdragon 800, 3 GB of RAM and a 3500 mAh battery.
Smartphones come with ever larger screens. Last year, the vast majority of devices comfortably exceeded 4 inches and this year the trend is devices of 5 inches … and even more. We had seen Huawei Ascend Mate of 6.1 inches and a supposed Galaxy Note 3 of 6.3 inches but there is a device even bigger: the Xperia Togari, a super smartphone of 6.44 inches which will be one of the big bets of Sony for this year.
Today has leaked the name of the device and have unveiled some of their supposed specifications. This huge device would come with the new processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 at 2.3 GHz, which promises to deliver performance 75% higher than the S4 Pro and lower consumption. Besides, all that power would be in good company as the Togari would incorporate an incredible 3 GB of RAM, a sensor of 13 megapixels Exmor RS and a 3500 mAh battery, along with the usual sensors and connectivity options such as LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC. Although not yet confirmed, the operating system would be Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Now, when will this beast be released? Snapdragon 800 processors will be launched during the second half of the year so to see the Xperia Togari will have to wait until then.
How about a smartphone of 6.44 inches? How would you like a big screen or do you think would be uncomfortable?
