The Samsung Galaxy S4 is the most anticipated Android device of the year and while we will not see the final version at CES which starts in a couple of days in Las Vegas, it seems the Korean company will show a prototype of its next flagship.
However, not all good news. According to reports from South Korea, all of this happens “behind the scenes” and the prototype is only visible to senior executives but not for the public.
Jay Lee, Vice President of Samsung Electronics, is supposedly the person who will be at CES to show a prototype of the Galaxy S4 to the operators and other high-profile partners. Although it is not official information comes from a famous news site of South Korea, which gives it some credibility.
We still do not have any official info about the specs, but we expect something like this:
- Super AMOLED screen of 4.99 inch Full HD (1,920 x 1,080)
- Processor Exynos 5450 Quad-Core 2.0GHz
- 2GB of RAM
- Mali-T658 GPU
- 13 megapixel rear camera
- 2-megapixel front camera
- Android 4.2.1
This adds to the Galaxy S4´s press photo leaked in which it is noted that the physical buttons have been removed. This would be an interesting decision not to increase the dimensions of the device to make it more easy to handle and transport.
