Last Monday, JK Shin, CEO of Samsung Mobile, confirmed that they would present the new Galaxy Note 8.0 at MWC 2013 and since then the rumors about the possible design and specifications of the device have steadily arise. In yesterday leaked a picture of the device and today the Italian site DDay has released new images supposedly officials of this new tablet.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 looks more like a giant smartphone than a tablet, with a similar design to the Galaxy S3 with rounded edges, same layout of the cameras, same home button and capacitive buttons on the screen, which is not too common in Android tablets that come with the status bar. These “curiosities” in design have already begun to generate controversy among users but we will see how eventually impact on sales.
Finally, while not yet been officially confirmed, it is expected that the Galaxy Note 8.0 incorporates a Super Clear LCD TFT screen of 8 inches (1,280 x 800 pixels), quad-core processor at 1.6 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory expandable to 32 GB with microSD card, Bluetooth 4.0, 5 MP rear camera, 1.3 MP front camera, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, a huge 4600 mAh battery, and the classic S-Pen.
