The CES 2013 is very close and slowly begin to filter images and details of the devices that will be released at the show which will take place in Las Vegas. ZTE wants to move to the foreground outside its native China and hopes to do with the Grand S, its new flagship that has amazing features and boasts of being the “5-inch world’s thinnest smartphone”.
Yesterday I had talked of the Nubia Z5, another of the great ZTE bets, and now more details have been revealed about the Grand S. It is a 5-inch device with full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro Quad-Core 1.5 GHz, Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB of RAM and a 13 megapixel camera.
One advantage of the Grand S over the Nubia Z5 is its design. The Grand S has a sleek design with a thickness of only 6.9 mm at its thinnest part, compared to 7.9 mm of the Nubia, which are explained in part by its smaller battery of 2,500 mAh. While there are smaller devices, ZTE says its Grand S is the thinnest 5-inch smartphone of the market.
The ZTE Grand S will be officially introduced at CES 2013 and then put up for sale at a price of $ 449.
