TomTom, the popular GPS application for Android just received an update to version 1.1 which adds support for over 200 devices and several new features more than interesting.
When TomTom launched its Android application already several weeks ago, the only drawback (besides the high price) was that it was only available for devices with WVGA resolutions, leaving out many smartphones. But that will not be a problem because the application has been updated to version 1.1 adding support to new equipment with higher resolutions like the Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, HTC One X, One S, LG Optimus G, Optimus 4X HD, Xperia T, RAZR / RAZR MAXX, among others.
In addition, the new version also includes the ability to download and store the maps on the SD card and incorporates a redesigned driving view that makes it clearer and easier to read.
TomTom also highlights that it is now possible to download maps in a more reliable way because the download mechanism has been improved.
This new version of TomTom can be downloaded from Google Play at a price of $ 50.
