The Samsung Galaxy S4 will be the most anticipated of 2013. We know it will come with improvements in processor and a larger screen but can you imagine a Galaxy S4 with S-Pen as the Galaxy Note? According to Korean sources, that might be possible.
Yesterday we saw a video demonstration of what could be the Samsung Galaxy S4 and today we get a juicy information from South Korea. Reportedly, the upcoming Samsung flagship would incorporate an S-Pen and number of features that we currently see in the Galaxy Note, which shorten distances between devices. The inclusion of an S-Pen does not seem something as illogical as it will be a 5-inch screen, but until now had always been a hallmark of the Galaxy Note.
In addition, Korean sources claim that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S4 in April although I personally believe that the device will be released some time later, between May and July.
The remaining specifications cited by Korean site correspond to several of the features that we’ve been talking about earlier. Spoken of a Super AMOLED screen 5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080), 2 GB of RAM and 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus. As for the processor things are not so clear: some argue that will see an Exynos 5440 chip quad-core and 28nm manufactured with-K metal gate technology, although there is also the possibility of using the architecture big.LITTLE of ARM that combines slow processor and low power with more powerful chips to create a multi-core processor to make more efficient use of energy and thus increase the battery life.
The Galaxy S4, always according to the Korean source would have 9.2mm thick therefore would be thicker than the current Galaxy S3 (8.6 mm) due to the camera.
What do you think about the addition of an S-Pen on the Galaxy S4? Would you like to? Leave me your thoughts in the comments and tell me what you think!
