Today we have new information about the Samsung Galaxy S4. Apparently the device would be presented during the second quarter of 2013, possibly in April or May, and its internal name would be Project J.
Last week I commented on all the news of the Samsung Galaxy S4 so far. We already knew that the device would have a Super AMOLED screen of 4.99 inch HD 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixels and 441 ppi), a processor Exynos 5450 quad-core 2 GHz, 8-core GPU, 2GB of RAM, up to 64 GB of internal memory, 13-megapixel camera capable of capturing images with a resolution of 4208 x 3120, Android OS 4.2 Jelly Bean or the next major update Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, LTE, GPS, which further reduce its thickness becoming the thinnest Galaxy device ever built and would be released, possibly, during the second quarter of 2013.
Well, today have emerged reports of the next Samsung flagship. According to an “insider”, the next flagship of the next generation of Galaxy devices would be called Project J and the Galaxy S4 would be released in the second quarter of next year (believed to be in April or May).
So far there is no official information but surely as we get closer to the release date new rumors will emerge and new information on what will be the most anticipated smartphone of 2013.
What I think
I tend to think that a launch in April would be to hasted because the Galaxy S3 keeps selling very good so I believe Samsung will delay its next flagship. Besides, the Galaxy S3´s harwdare is still up to date so by now, in terms of hardware, there´s no need to. The only reason I see is that the Galaxy S4 could be a directly attack to the iPhone 5´s sells, but I personally think that we won´t see it until June or July 2013.
