The CyanogenMod team has just published a screenshot in which suggests that the release of the next generation of ROMs based on Android 4.2.1 for the Samsung Galaxy S3 is imminent.
Steve Kondik, a leading men of CyanogenMod, published a screenshot in wich shows the new version number running on a Galaxy S3 (SGH-T999, U.S. version of T-Mobile). Kondik said that there are only a few days of work to complete the ROM and they hope to have the first nightlies in the coming days. He reported that the new software incorporates all the news of Android 4.2, is “very fluid” and that corrects the error in December.
This new ROM CM10.1 will be available shortly for all users who are root. Is it your case? Eager to try this new CyanogenMod ROM on your Galaxy S3? Tell me your feelings in the comments!
What I think
I beleive there´s way too much room to improve in Cyanogen Team since there are still no official CM10 stable mods for the international versiones of the Galaxy S2 and S3, so I hope they put to work and finish those before continuing with an OS that it´s said is slower and incorporates few features. I´m very eager to see Android 4.2, but first things first, Android 4.1.2 stable.
