Users of the Samsung Galaxy S2 with AT & T today will receive a new update that while no Jelly Bean brings some interesting features.

While no longer the flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S2 is still a great device, and thanks to its dual-core processor at 1.2 GHz, 1GB of RAM and its great 8 MP camera, many still choose it and thanks to this is still supported both officially and from the different carriers. Its weak point is the low resolution of the display, but if we take into account that incorporates a SuperAMOLED panel that delivers vivid colors then we might skip that.

While the update is the expected one to carry this device to Android 4.1.2, which is expected to arrive in January 2013, the one of today┬┤s incorporates some improvements that users will appreciate . This brings Android 4.0.3 to Android 4.0.4, which highlights the incorporation of the redesigned TouchWiz 4 which provides greater stability and fluidity as well as some cosmetic changes. The changelog has not been released.

Its build number is I777UCLK3, and while Samsung claims that it will only came via KIES, many users have reported that are getting the OTA notification so stay alert and check for updates. At least, an update is always welcome.
