Despite having promised to do so before the end of the year, Samsung has not yet officially released the update to Android 4.1 for the Galaxy Note (GT-N7000). However, we already have the first leaked Jelly Bean 4.1.2 ROM that the Korean company is developing for this device. Here’s how to upgrade!

This new firmware XXLSA features several news and improvements as the functionality multiwindow of the Galaxy Note 2 as well as the ability to customize the commands of the notifications menu, which shows that Samsung is working hard to carry the features of the new devices to older smartphones.

Should be noted that this is NOT an official firmware released by Samsung but a leaked version and therefore may have some bugs. However, according to reports from users, this XXLSA firmware is very stable and works much better than the last.

XXLSA is a rooted version of the firmware that can be flashed from custom Recovery for the whole community to bring Android 4.1.2 to your Galaxy Note.
