SuperSU, the best application for root users, has just received an update preliminary for Android 4.2 which incorporates multi-user capabilities for Android tablets.

SuperSU is the application of choice for root users. This app allows you to manage advanced superuser access for all applications on a rooted device.

SuperSU just received a major upgrade to version 0.98, which incorporates features more than interesting. This is a preliminary update for Android 4.2 with multi-user capabilities for tablets. Now just the primary user can run the user interface and root access, while a secondary user applications will not be granted root nor can change SuperSU settings. This means that for the moment the principal owner can control the root access, and block access to secondary users.

It should be noted that this is a temporary thing, Chainfire, developer of the app, says they are working in the proper multi-user support.

You can download this new SuperSU version from Google Play Store for free. You’ll need a device running Android 2.1 or higher and root access.
