Pou: a new tamagotchi for Android with over 10 million downloads.

Two decades ago Aki Maita revolutionized the pre-teen market with the creation of Tamagotchi, a small virtual pet who lived in a pixelated screen of a small gadget egg-shaped with 3 buttons.

Much has happened since then but the same concepts still work on new technologies. Pou, a tamagotchi for Android has captured that essence and has managed to cause the same furor.

Pou: the tamagotchi for Android

Like the old tamagotchi Pou is a small pet that you will have feed care and make play. But unlike this, Pou is characterized by making some very strange noises with which you’ll notice all your needs.
The application gives you the ability to set your own wallpapers that you can go shopping with the coins collected to take care of Pou or making micropayments through your Google PLAY account.

Pou: gaming experience

The interface is divided into several rooms with different colors according to which actions are available. Among these are the kitchen, bathroom, games room and the room.

Thus in the kitchen you will have food options for which you can select from various types of food such as fruit, chips and sushi.

If you run out of food, you can also buy them at the store that is divided according to the types of foods, sweets, fast food, fruit and sushi.

In the game room you will have different types of games and a store to buy other options such as balls and paintings.

In the bathroom you have the possibility to wash your pet or give a health potion if you’ve neglected.

And finally, you can dress him in the room with different colors or change the color of eyes, and finally turn off the light to send her to sleep.

Pou: Opinion

Puo is undoubtedly an application that will keep the kids occupied and entertained, especially for its notification system through which the pet requests food baths and tells you about its status.

But to be honest I’d rather not recommend it, since there are other options which will entertain and educate your children.
