Pocket, the best application to save articles, images or videos and read / watch them later, just received a major update to its version 4.2, which comes loaded with new features.

Pocket 4.2, now allows us to not only see or read the articles, but also listen through the Android functionality Text-to-Speech. To do this just open an article and select Listen (TTS) in the menu.

Besides this novelty, several features have been improved. The Subscription Manager now works on all Android versions, full screen animations have been improved in the reader and short URL is disabled to share on Evernote.

In Pocket 4.2 also Fixed several bugs from previous versions:

  • The crash in the ZTE Blade when opening an article
  • Help blank on Jelly Bean
  • After dialing the link “Read Later” within an article, file / mark as favorite affecting the wrong link
  • Minor bug fix
  • Small improvements in the interface

An interesting update for all those who usually read news from their mobile.
