The tablet market this year has evolved into devices with 4-core processors, and since the launch of Google Nexus 7 the competition will be more than difficult in these products, since the quality and price of this devices are excellent.

However, other companies have provided or are about to present alternatives, some with their own operating systems like Microsoft, and others with Android as the case of Samsung and Sony.

Google Nexus 7

Microsoft Surface

Meanwhile, Microsoft also introduced its own tablet called Microsoft Surface that comes natively with the latest version of its operating system Windows Phone 8.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1

HP was retired of the tablets market after the big failure of the touchpad with WebOS, however, this year will re-enter the scene with the launch of a new tablet HP Slate 8 which will be released with Windows 8 Microsoft.
