LG just announced that the LG Prada 3.0 has begun to receive the official update to Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

As always, the upgrade process will take place in stages depending on the country, and this time has begun in Italy, but soon will come to other countries.

The firmware version is nicknamed V20d based on Android 4.0, and in addition to the specific improvements in this new version of Android, there´s a new feature known as QuickMemo, which lets you turn the smartphone into a notebook.

Unfortunately, the update is not available via OTA, so it will be necessary to install the PC Suite and connect the device to the PC to implement it.
