After a few months without much news, Dolphin has just released a new beta of its popular browser wich claims to be the fastest browser to date.

For several months no relevant updates were launched by Dolphin. However, today they launched a new beta of its popular browser that incorporates great new features.
Dolphin is preparing super fast browsers, so fast that it will be “the fastest browser in HTLM5″ according to them. And to prove they have released a video:

As shown, the speed of this new version is great and no there are no major esthetic changes.

As for the technical details, the huge increase in speed is due to an improvement in the performance of HTML5 and CSS3. It has also added support for Webcam and Web GL hardware acceleration, and many other novelties.

According to Dolphin reports, this new beta is between 5 and 10 times faster than the native ICS browser, 100% faster than Chrome and a score of 450 points in a famous test of HTML5.
